The League was formed in 1968 with just 26 teams. Under the Presidency of one of the original members, Mr. Ray Bellamy, together with a hardworking and enthusiastic committee, the League now provides football for over 340 teams ranging in age from Under 7 to Under 18, with over 4,000 players out on pitches every Sunday during the season.
